I
have been thinking what to say about leading Cosi for quite some time. This
history is truly rich in emotions and adventures. Cutting the story short and
pithy would make me feel bad as it would omit some very important facts that
played a big part in attempting the route over a few seasons. On the other hand
starting an x-page dissertation I thought that it was pointless to reveal
myself and useless to recall the closed chapter of my life. Not good either way
;-)
Finally
I decided to do just a plain note ignoring any intimate experiences which I am
sure one day will see the light of day anyway, but not here.
One
important thing, or maybe the most important thing is that in the previous
seasons my main problem was lack of suitable climbing partner and much needed
peace that contributed to completing this project. This year together with
Michal we went back to Rodellar. Everything was FINALLY clear and the support
of the person holding the grigri was the best I could ever dream of.
Eventually, full of distance towards the route and its’ difficulty I managed to
lead it, but I didn’t treat it as the priority when going to Spain, but as an
important piece of future jigsaw.
Długo zastanawiałam się co napisać na temat mojego przejścia Cosi. Historia prowadzenia drogi jest niezwykle bogata w emocje i łączy ze sobą wiele perypetii. Opisując zdarzenie krótko i treściwie czułabym się źle pomijając niezwykle ważne fakty, które miały ogromne znaczenie w trakcie wstawek w drogę na przełomie kilku sezonów. Z drugiej strony rozpoczynając x stronnicowy elaborat miałam wrażenie, że bez sensu wywnętrzam się i niepotrzebnie przypominam o zamkniętym etapie mojego życia. Ani tak ani tak nie dobrze ;-)
Wreszcie zdecydowałam się na proste info i brak opisu intymnych przeżyć, które zapewne kiedyś ujrzą światlo dzienne, lecz w innym miejscu niż to.
Jedyne co ważne, a może najważniejsze w tym wszystkim to fakt,że w minionych sezonach głównym problemem był brak odpowiedniego partnera wspinaczkowego i niezbędnego spokoju, dzięki któremu udało pokonać mi się Cosi. W tym roku wraz z Michałem wróciliśmy do Rodellaru. Wszystko było WRESZCIE ogarnięte tak jak powinno, a wsparcie osoby trzymającej gri najlepsze jakie mogłabym sobie wymarzyć. Wreszcie, ze sporym dystansem do drogi i do jej trudności udało się ją poprowadzić, traktując to nie jako cel po który przyjechałam do ES, ale jako jeden z puzzli niezbędny do ułożenia przyszłej układanki.
On a more mundane note and
purely as a bit of info (especially for those interested in the route) Cosi Fan
Tutte has been changing over the last years evolving to 8c+.
There
have been pluckings not only in the crux itself (which has become much more
difficult) but also the whole route. Year by year the patrons of Piscineta
observe the subsidence. Cosi is 55 metres of tough climbing with a clear crux after
L1 (beautiful 8a+), a more difficult climb a few clips further up, and then the
mental finish, which managed to precipitate many experienced climbers. I don’t
think I have to mention how splendidly located it is, without a doubt it is the
most charming climbing spot I have seen, Piscineta itself is the best sector in
Rodellar!
Z info bardziej przyziemnych i czysto informacyjnych (szczególnie dla tych zainteresowanych drogą): Cosi Fan Tutte" na przestrzeni ostatnich lat zmieniało się, ewoluując do wyceny 8c+. Miały miejsce obrywy nie tylko w samym cruxie, (który utrudnił się znacząco) lecz także w całej drodze. Z roku na rok, stali bywalcy Piscinety, obserwują ubytki na drodze. Cosi to 55 metrów wytrzymałościowego wspinania z wyraźnym cruxem po L1 (piękne 8a+) a także trudniejszym miejscem kilka wpinek wyżej, jak również z psychiczną końcówką drogi, która potrafiła zrzucić wielu doświadczonych wspinaczy. O tym jak pięknie umiejscowiona chyba nie trzeba wspominać, bez wątpienia jest to chyba najpiękniejsze miejsce wspinaczkowe jakie dotychczas widziałam, a sama Piscineta to najlepszy sektor w Rodellar!
